During the summer of 2009, she interned for CFR Engineering in and gained valuable mechanical design experience. Shiyun is very grateful for the experiences and knowledge that she has gained. Shiyun passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) in the fall of 2009 and will become an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) upon graduation. She plans to pursue her Professional Engineering License (PE) as well as becoming a LEED Accredited professional. Outside of academics, Shiyun has been involved with student organizations on campus.
